The Manager, Financial Reporting, is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, financial and SEC reporting for CIM’s public funds, under the supervision of the Director of Financial Reporting. This role primarily oversees the preparation of required SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q and 10-K, publicly filed supplementals, 8-K, and supporting schedules.
The position partners closely with fund accounting and portfolio management, as well as internal and external auditors.
Strong knowledge and application of GAAP accounting.
Ability to independently organize and manage multiple tasks in a detailed and deadline-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
Analytical and critical thinking skills.
Time management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
Proactive and collaborative team player with strong work ethic.
Strong financial and system acumen and exceptional problem-solving skills.
Adapt quickly to changes, work efficiently in a dynamic fast-paced work environment.

5+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting or accounting or audit, or related roles. Ideally at least two years’ public accounting experience and financial reporting.
