Job Description

Overview

The successful candidate will be analytical, commercially minded and highly motivated, with a strong interest in investing and the global energy transition. They will bring a disciplined approach to underwriting, a collaborative working style and the ability to contribute effectively in a transaction-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Build financial models, valuation analyses and investment materials to support transaction evaluation and decision-making.
Conduct company, sector and market research to assess investment theses, trends, risks, value drivers and transaction outcomes.
Coordinate with internal teams, portfolio companies, operating partners and external advisors in support of due diligence workstreams.
Support post-investment business planning, value creation and decarbonization initiatives.
Prepare presentation materials and transaction documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Contribute to a disciplined, collaborative and performance-oriented team culture.
Conduct special projects and other responsibilities, as required.

Preferred Qualifications

1-3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, infrastructure investing, or a related field.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Strong financial modeling, valuation and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to independently manage multiple priorities.
Sound commercial judgment and attention to detail.
Interest in energy, infrastructure, industrials, and the energy transition; experience in energy, power, infrastructure, industrials, or project finance considered an asset.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated ability and desire to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
