Responsibilities
Responsible for the strategic, operational, and financial performance of one of two primary national business units focused on Industrial.
Oversees approximately half of the organization’s North American real estate portfolio, including development, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and property operations.
Plays a decisive role in portfolio strategy, capital deployment, and long-term value creation.
Lead evaluation, underwriting, and execution of transactions, including large-scale acquisitions, build-to-suit and speculative development, and portfolio optimization initiatives.
Own regional P&L performance, including budget management, monthly performance monitoring, trend analysis, forecasting, and capital planning.
Partner closely with Capital Markets and the Investment Committee to shape capital sourcing strategies, joint ventures, and portfolio-level transactions that optimize scale, liquidity, and risk diversification.
Establish and enforce investment governance standards, including deal approval thresholds, return hurdles, and post-investment performance reviews across markets and asset types.
Oversee management of the regional portfolio, ensuring strong property operations, tenant engagement, and consistent lease execution.
Champion and scale client-service business lines across the region, including procurement, energy, digital infrastructure, and workforce programs.
Qualifications
A minimum of 15+ years of progressive commercial real estate experience, including leadership of large portfolios and multi-market transactions.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or related field required.
Demonstrated success in large-scale transactions, global lease negotiations, and the delivery of major capital projects.
Significant experience leading complex industrial portfolios, platforms, or business units with strategic, operational, and financial accountability.
Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, ROI / IRR concepts, sensitivity analysis, and scenario planning.
Experience with real estate financial modeling tools such as Argus.
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and executive presence, with the ability to influence at the board, client, investor, and cross-functional leadership level.
Strong strategic thinking and critical reasoning, including the ability to define ambiguous, high-impact problems, synthesize information from multiple sources, and make disciplined decisions in fast-moving environments.
Demonstrated leadership capability with experience building, coaching, and retaining high-performing teams.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex financial reports, legal documents such as leases, letters of intent, and purchase and sale agreements, and market data.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or postgraduate qualification in a related discipline highly preferred.
Prior experience leading a national or large regional industrial business unit or platform.
Experience partnering closely with Capital Markets, Investment Committees, and senior executive stakeholders on capital deployment and portfolio strategy.
Strong background in industrial development, acquisitions, and asset management within institutional real estate environments.
Experience serving as a senior client or relationship executive for major industrial customers or strategic accounts.
Experience representing an organization in industry forums, policy settings, or external market-facing leadership roles.

Build, lead, coach, and retain a high-performing team of Vice Presidents, Market Officers, and functional leaders; foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and operational discipline.
Serve as an executive spokesperson at industry events and policy forums, representing the company and advocating for the organization’s interests.
Ability to write clear, executive-ready communications and board-level materials, and to present persuasively to senior leaders, investors, and external partners.
