Responsibilities

Oversee all construction management activities for large-scale tunnel projects with multiple contract packages.
Oversee commissioning, startup, and project closeout activities.
Ensure project compliance with all contract requirements, regulatory requirements, and Consent Decree milestones.
Oversee project controls, including schedule management, cost control, change management, and progress reporting.
Serve as the primary liaison with the project owner, designers, contractors, regulatory agencies, and community stakeholders.
Provide technical guidance on constructability, sequencing, and risk mitigation for complex tunneling and urban infrastructure.
Lead, mentor, and supervise a diverse construction management team.
Champion a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
BA/BS + 12 years of relevant or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 4 years of leadership.
Professional Engineer (PE) license (required, and ability to obtain New York PE by reciprocity in 12 months)
CCM Certification.
Experience with New York City DEP projects and local regulatory environment.
History of successful delivery of Consent Decree or federally mandated projects.
Advanced knowledge of risk management, constructability reviews, and dispute resolution.
20 years of progressive experience in construction management of large-scale tunneling and heavy civil infrastructure projects.
Demonstrated expertise in construction management of water tunnels (TBM & SEM), pump stations, shafts, diversion structures, and urban infrastructure.
Proven track record delivering projects more than $500 million; experience with projects over $1 billion preferred.
Proficiency in contract administration, schedule management, and cost control.
