Lead complex, cross-functional, programs focused on improving, standardizing, integrating, and optimizing data center facilities across the company portfolio.
Manage projects involving existing site assessments, infrastructure gap resolution, operational readiness, customer impacting remediation, facility improvements, and technical system transitions.
Facilitate communication across multiple technical teams (e.g., Systems Engineering, Network Engineering, Security, Data Center Operations) and Contractors, while ensuring alignment with established company standards, controls, and delivery expectations.
Turn complex issues into actionable plans, coordinating execution across multiple workstreams, and providing clear reporting to leadership on progress, risk, schedule, budget and business impact.
Work closely with systems, network, and security engineering teams to complete technical discovery and validate project scope.
Apply project management expertise to ensure accurate and timely delivery of infrastructure services and solutions.
Collaborate with team managers and technical resources to identify project approach, deliverables, tasks, dependencies, and resourcing needs, particularly as they relate to infrastructure and data‑center‑based technologies.
Develop and actively manage detailed project plans, identifying applicable phases, milestones, tasks, resources, deliverables, and due dates using standard project management practices.
Review proposed changes to project plans and facilitate stakeholder alignment to approve and implement beneficial changes.
Manage multiple projects and workstreams in a deadline‑driven environment, ensuring commitments are met and risks are addressed proactively.
Continuously monitor and report on project status to leadership, including schedule, risks, issues, and required escalations.
Coordinate cross‑functional activities to support infrastructure readiness, operational handoff, and successful project closeout.
Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of internal processes, documentation, and delivery standards within Technology Delivery.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Project Management or other related field or equivalent professional experience.
Seven or more years of Project Management experience.
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
Experience building detailed technical project plans and task dependencies based on technical familiarity and stakeholder interviews.
Experience managing complex, strategic programs with multiple sub-projects/workstreams.
Experience working in data center environments.
US Citizenship for this position is required by law due to federal customer contracts.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong Knowledge of data center/critical environment concepts, such as space, power, cooling and connectivity.
Strong Knowledge of technologies found within data center architecture, such as routers, switches, firewalls, server components, storage, and virtualization.
Experience with Project Management applications and visualization tools such as MS Project, Smartsheets.
PMP certification.
