Help conduct jobsite coordination meetings and job status reports.
Work directly with owners/clients, field teams, subcontractors and various internal teams for support.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering/Management
6+ years of proven experience in the commercial construction industry (industrial, healthcare, retail, office, senior living and multi-family experience preferred).
Proven ability to manage commercial projects in the $1 - $75 million range.
Knowledge of Microsoft Project and other project management tools.
Advanced knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control and material pricing.
Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate effectively with superintendents, subcontractors and owner/clients.
Able to travel for projects if needed.
Minimum of six months of experience in both estimating/preconstruction and fieldwork is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven ability to manage projects in the $1-$30 million range.
Ability to assume the lead responsibility in interfacing and communicating effectively with superintendents, subcontractors, owner/clients, and authorities having jurisdiction.
Proven ability to lead a team of construction professionals including successful teaching and delegation of tasks to Project Coordinators, Engineers, and other team members.
A strong customer focus that pursues customer input to help exceed expectations.
Consistent professionalism including honesty and integrity, and a passion for excellence.
Unwavering teamwork skills and the ability to delegate effectively.
Demonstrate relationship building skills with third party clients and vendor partners.
Promptly and effectively resolve issues with win-win solutions and display natural leadership skills and qualities to guide multiple project teams with direct responsibility of project personnel.
