Minimum of 6 years of transportation, highway, or bridge construction inspection experience.
Active Professional Engineer’s License.
NICET Level IV Certification in Highway Construction (only NICET Certifications in Highway Construction are allowed unless other NICET subfields are requested for Central Office approval).
PennDOT Concrete Technician Certification or NECEPT Field Technician Certification. Supervise and perform daily inspection of construction work to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
Proactively identify and communicate issues in the field to project management.
Provide solutions to mitigate problems as they arise.
Observe field work, ensuring workmanship and materials meet standards.
Document work using PennDOT or Pennsylvania Turnpike daily inspection report and various other reports.
